COMMUNITY ROOTS "When I'm not in the cab of a machine, you’ll usually find me on the sidelines coaching local sports. I believe in teaching the next generation the same values I bring to every job site: Discipline, Hard Work, and No Excuses. This valley is my home, and I’m dedicated to building it up—whether that’s moving dirt or mentoring the kids who live here."

BORN IN THE DIRT.

BUILT FOR THE COMPLEX

I didn't choose this trade—I was raised in it. As a 3rd Generation Contractor right here in Western Colorado, I spent my childhood in the cab of a machine, learning the difference between simply moving dirt and truly working a site.

Grizzly Grading & Excavation is the modern chapter of a 50-year family tradition in Western Colorado. Founded by 40-year-old owner Jared to continue the expertise of Farnsworth Construction and Gravel Inc, we combine old-school grit with modern precision. building a reputation for technical precision and honest work. But as the industry changed, I saw a need for something faster and more aggressive.

That’s why I launched Grizzly Grading & Excavation LLC.

I built this company for the homeowners and GCs who are tired of waiting on slow contractors. My philosophy is simple: We take the experience of a legacy builder and apply the speed of a modern operator. When you see me on your job site, you aren't just getting a guy with a machine—you're getting three generations of problem-solving experience behind the controls.

We don't make excuses. We don't dodge the hard jobs. We just get it done."
